Nathan is the father to Jacob, a 3 year old living with Recessive Dystrophic EB, and is the Chair of EBRP Australia. He offers a glimpse into daily life with EB, sharing lessons learned along the way and how he and his care team provide the best care for Jacob. Nathan also provides updates from EBRP Australia.
Dr. Allison Cowin
Dr. Cowin, Professor of Regenerative Medicine at the University of South Australia, is a leading researcher in the Australian EB space who discusses her systemic antibody therapy which could lead to a simple and effective new treatment for EB patients. She also briefly discusses the Solutions for Manufacturing Advanced Regenerative Therapies (SMART) CRC program and its potential to boost EB research in Australia.

Jason McCartney, Executive General Manager of Football for the GWS Giants, shares his journey with how he became involved with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) through the EBRP x GWS Giants partnership. He also opens up about his personal experience and connection to the EB community. Jason also emphasizes the critical importance of using his and the GWS Giants platform to raise awareness for EB.
